Copper tubular cable terminal is used for terminating copper wires and widely in connecting wires to the busbars, switchgears, terminal devices, while increasing the safety and durability of the connection among others by reducing overheating wires and wire insulation.
In the offer of ERKO there are several types of cable lugs, copper tubular. Tubular cable terminals can be divided: according with DIN (eg.: KCR, KC, KCL), and outside DIN standard (eg .: KCS), on flat copper tubular cable terminals KCS type or made with angle of 45° or 90° (eg .: KC). Another division is the amount of holes for screw placed on flat part of copper tubular cable terminal. Tubular part may be with one or two holes for screws (KCL), or manufactured according to individual needs.
KCL-type tubular cable terminal is designed for stranded copper wires with cross-section of 25 mm2 to 240 mm2 and is made according to DIN 46235. There is possibility to order cable lugs with non standard parameters, eg. with another hole for screws.
Copper tubular cable terminals in the Erko offer can also be divided according to the voltage at which they worked: low or medium, as well as made with tight partition as in the cable terminals (KCM).
Material used for the production of copper tubular cable terminals, is galvanicaly tinned copper according to DIN. Determine appropriate parameters ensure long life and reliability. On request, production copper tubular cable terminals non tinned.
