Cu tubular terminals are commonly used to terminate Cu wires. They are also used in connections of wires and busbars as well as in terminal devices, which increases the safety and durability of the connection. For multi-strand copper wires use of the KCS Cu tubular cable terminals which is made of galvanically tinned copper . The wire cross-section in case of this terminal ranges from 2,5 to 400 mm2. The KCS 45 tubular terminal is also designed for multi-strand copper wires. The wire cross-section ranges from 8 to 400 mm2. Remember to choose the right crimping tool for each of the terminals. These tools include hand presses, hydraulic presses and battery powered presses.
An example of narrow tubular terminal is KCZ cable terminal . The version with the narrowed contact part facilitates the installation. Special plastic treatment forms a flat contact surface. If you still haven’t found cable terminal or cable connector with the dimensions that will meet all your requirements, bear in mind that we can produce cable connectors in different dimensions than those listed in the tables.
The KCL tubular terminal is made according to DIN 46235. A non-tinned version is available on request.
