Hydraulic tools – presses
One of the most commonly used crimping tools are hydraulic presses. They are designed for crimping terminals and connectors on electrical wires. Press HRZ 300 is an example of a hydraulic hand tool and it is used for crimping terminals and connectors like: ring ,cable end-sleeves, tubular; it can be also used for round forming of Al sector conductors. Such wide application of this tool is possible thanks to the exchangeable dies type: ZA,ZE,ZT,ZF and ZS. It is also easy to work with this tool thanks to the flip top head rotatable by 180°.
Another hydraulic tools are hydraulic hand press HR 100-U and HR 300. HR 100-U is also equipped with exchangeable dies; it works with dies type: UA, UE,UT and UF. The application is similar to press HRZ300, because it is used to crimp such terminals and connectors as: ring, cable end-sleeves, tubular and it is used for round forming of Al sector conductors. The force is uses is 47 kN. Much greater force is applied by the press HR 300, because it is 98kN. This allows for more efficient work thanks to two circuits : fast access and working. In addition to the standard applications this tool can be used for flat forming of Al. sector conductors from 25 to 120 mm2 with the help of OR die, it is also possible to punch holes in steel band.
Hydraulic tools – hydraulic heads
Hydraulic tools ,that are applied for works with high intensity are the hydraulic heads. These hydraulic heads are compatible with aggregates type AH 1000, AH 500 and AH 550 and a foot hydraulic pump H 800. You can choose from different hydraulic heads, your choice could be for example GZ 300, that is used for crimping terminals and connectors on wires with the cross-section up to 300 mm2. The force used is 79,2kN, and the working pressure is 630 bar. Another hydraulic head is GO 300 with wider application; it is used for crimping but also for flat forming of Al with the help of OR die, it can be used for punching holes in steel band with the help of OK die. The force used is 98 kN.
