Pin cable terminal is one of many products offered by ERKO. As it is with the ring and spade terminals the pin terminal is also designed for crimping on multi-strand copper wires. It is offered in two options with polyamide insulation and without insulation. It meets the highest standards of quality and it is made of galvanically tinned copper.
Pin cable terminal KWA
KWA is an example of a terminal without insulation and it is produced in different sizes. This pin terminal can be crimped on wires with the cross-section from 0,5 ÷ 1mm2 to 16 mm2. Crimping tools that are recommended for crimping terminals on wires with the cross-section from 0,5 to 2,5 mm2 are for example: PR33, A11-6, RA16, ETA66 or PP8, whereas crimping terminals on thicker wire requires the use of stronger crimping tools for example: EPZC300, EPZ300, GZ300, HR300, PRZ240, GO300, HRZ300.

Pin terminal KWE
KWE terminal is an equivalent of KWA terminal , however it has insulation, thanks to this solution its thermal resistance to temperatures is greater. The tubular part of the terminal can have different colours, as in case of most terminals with insulation, these are yellow, red and blue. The manufacturer decided that the edges of folded tubular part are soldered. Crimping tools recommended for crimping these terminals are the following E11-6, PP8, PP19, EPZC300, EPZ300, GZ300 and GU120.

Pin terminal KWV
KWV is a terminal with insulation and it is produced according to DIN 46231. It is available in sizes that correspond to the wires with the conductor cross-section from 0,5 to 6 mm2. In order to crimp this terminal you should use the same crimping tools as in case of KWE terminal , in other words PR33, RE6, E11-6, PP8 and PP19.
