ERKO company offers a wide range of crimping tools for crimping cable terminals and connectors on the cables. The connection is obtained by means of carefully selected presses: manual, hydraulic, pneumatic. For crimping terminals and connectors with a small diameter manual or pneumatic crimping presses are offered. For larger diameters terminals and connectors the hydraulic tools equipped with crimping tools are suggested.
The presses proposed by the Producer are designed to work on different ranges of wire cross-sections. Crimping tools for cable end-sleeves with or without insulation recommended by ERKO are: T-10, T 22-6, 11-1 T and T 10-16V is intended for insulated double cable end-sleeves. Mechanical crimpingtool T10 is designed for crimping in the form of a square for cable end-sleeves with insulation on the multi cross section copper cables in a range from 0.5 to 10mm2.
Another group of hand crimpingtools, developed and designed for ring terminals and connectors, spade, pin and tubular connectors. The presses that belong to it are: A 22-2, A 11-6, AE 22-05 and manual crimping tool RA 16..
The offer also includes manual, mechanical crimping presses for tubular connectors – hand press D 11-6 for female angle type SK 1 and SK 2N for receptacles without isolation – S 33-1 and claw terminals – S 44-2.
Particularly attention needs universal hand press PR33. The distinctive feature of the tool is easily interchangeable crimping dies. The manufacturer offers a range of crimping dies most frequently used during installation and electrical work. The selected dies are for ring insulated and non-insulated terminals, cable end-sleeves and receptacles. The scope of pressed terminals and connectors is in the range of 0.5 to 35mm2. Removable crimping dies are mounted in press by a spring catch. This solution does not require any devices to exchange crimping dies, which significantly affect the functionality of the tool. Assembly of the product is carried out using an automated line. This allows for repeatable parameters directly affecting the durability and reliability of the press. The use of two component non-slip handle in the press provides a comfortable, safe operation and ergonomic sure grip. When designing the press the individual needs of the Client were taken into account, proposing any crimping dies completion..
Manual hand presses of types: PR 50, PR120, PR 150i PR95A, depending on the nature of the crimping dies used, allow the crimping of the tubular aluminum connectors in the section of 16-95mm2 or copper in the senction of 10-150mm2 made according to norm DIN or beyond it. Rotating clamping jaws enable fast operation (no need to replace the crimping dies). The feature stamped on the crimping die indicates the Cu wire size. Crimping the connector in the form of a hexagon provides a permanent connection. Slightly larger diameters of terminals and connectors could be crimped by presses PR240 and PRZ240. Using the appropriate crimping dies allows crimping of cable end-sleeves (in the range of 10-120mm2), insulated or non-insulated cable connectors (10-120mm2) and aluminum tubular connectors (16-240mm2) and copper (6-185mm2).
