Hydraulic heads for crimping

Manual hand press , hydraulic hand press or hydraulic head? The choice of  crimping tools  is very big, and the choice is in most cases connected with the intensity of works and the cross-section of the wires. For less intensive works it is recommended to use manual hand presses, for works of average intensity – hydraulic presses  and for highly intensive works – hydraulic heads. They are compatible with electric hydraulic units produced by ERKO for example pump  H 800 or aggregates: AH 100 , AH 500 and AH 550. Hydraulic head GZ 300

GZ 300 is designed for crimping tubular terminals and connectors on wires with the cross-section up to 300 mm2. This tool is quite light, it weighs 2,6 kg, without dies.  Crimping force is  79,2 kN. It is compatible with such dies as: ZA for ring terminals without insulation, ZE for ring terminals with insulation , ZT for cable end-sleeves, ZF for round forming of Al sector conductors , ZS for tubular terminals and connectors.

Hydraulic head  GU 120 is designed for crimping of different types of cable terminals and connectors on wires with the cross-section to 120 mm2. The force is  80 kN. Crimping process is performer with the help of   an appropriate die:

  • UA for ring terminals without insulation,
  • UE for cable terminals and connectors with insulation,
  • UT for cable end-sleeves with and without insulation,
  • UF for round forming of Al. sector conductors,
  • USM for tubular terminals and connectors Al. and Cu .

Hydraulic head  GO 300

GO 300 thanks to the exchangeable  crimping dies can be used to crimp cable terminals and connectors on wires with the cross-section up to 300 mm2. It is also used for punching holes in steel band. The force is  98 kN. It works with dies: OA, OE, OT, OF, OS, OR and OK.

Hydraulic head GU 300

GU 300 is designed for tubular Al and Cu terminals with the cross-section to 300 mm2, for round forming of Al sector conductors to  120 mm2 and for punching holes in steel band. It works with following dies: USD, UDF, UR and UK. The force is 112 kN.

Hydraulic head GU 625

GU 625 has a very  narrow usage, because it crimps only tubular Al. terminals on wires with the cross-section from  300 to  625 mm2. The force is huge and it is  190 kN.
