Crimping tools can be manual, pneumatic or hydraulic. When we choose the crimping tool we need to take into account which cable terminal or cable connector we are about to crimp. Different shapes and types of cable terminals, require the use of crimping tools intended for them. The crimping tools have different crimping dies and different crimping force. For electrical works of low intensity manual crimping tools are enough, but for the works of high intensity – there is the need to use hydraulic tools.
Crimping tools designed for electrical works of low intensity
- PR 33 is designed for cable terminals with and without insulation from 0,5 to 6 mm2 and for cable end-sleeves from 0,5 to 35 mm2. It can be bought separately or with the set of exchangeable crimping dies. Thanks to the ratchet mechanism you do not need to use much force. The eccentricity additionally regulates the clamping force.
- T 16S is designed for cable end-sleeves with and without insulation from 0,08 to 16 mm2. It is equipped with ratchet mechanism which enables the use of little force.
- A 11-6 is for ring cable terminals and cable connectors and for tubular terminals and connectors from 0,5 – 6 mm2. It is equipped with ratchet mechanism and eccentricity.

- HRZ 300 is for ring terminal and connectors from 10 – 120 mm2, cable end-sleeves from 25 – 185 mm2, tubular terminals and connectors Cu from 6 – 300 mm2, tubular terminals and connectors from 16 – 240 mm2, round forming of Al sector conductor from 16 – 240 mm2.
