Crimping tools is a wide range of products used within the crimping system offered by ERKO. For intensive and medium intensive installation works it is recommended to use hydraulic crimping heads. The work with electric hydraulic drives produced by ERKO, e.g. hydraulic pump H 800 or electric hydraulic units AH 100, AH 500 and AH 550. Find out more about hydraulic heads and their crimping dies.
Hydraulic head GU 625 is designed for both copper and aluminum tubular terminals and connectors. The conductor cross-section should range from 300 – 625 mm2. The crimping die is UX.
Hydraulic head GU 300 works with the following crimping dies:
- UDF for round forming of Al sector conductor with the cross-section of 16 – 240 mm2
- UR for terminating Al sector conductors ; and flat forming of Al sector conductors of 25 – 120 mm2
- UK for hole punching in steel band with maximum dimensions of 5×30 mm or in Al sector conductors previously flat formed with the cross-section of 25 – 120 mm2
- USD for Cu tubular terminals and connectors on cable conductors with the cross-section of 6 – 300 mm2 and Al tubular terminals and connectors on cable conductors with the cross-section of 16 – 300 mm2.
Hydraulic head GO 300 uses the following crimping dies:
- OA for Cu ring terminals without insulation with the cross-section of 10 – 120 mm2
- OE for Cu terminals and connectors with insulation with the cross-section of 10 – 120 mm2
- OT for cable end-sleeves with and without insulation with the cross-section of 25 – 185 mm2
- OF for round forming of Al. sector conductors with the cross-section of 16 – 240 mm2
- OS for tubular terminals and connectors Cu of 6 – 300 mm2 and tubular terminals and connectors Al of 16 – 300 mm2
- OR for flat forming of Al. sector conductors with the cross-section of 25 – 120 mm2
- OK for punching holes in Al sector conductors previously flat formed and for punching holes in steel band with the dimensions of 3×30 mm.
Crimping dies for hydraulic crimping head GU 120:
- UA for Cu ring terminals and connectors with the cross-section of 10 – 120 mm2
- UE for Cu terminals and connectors with insulation with the cross-section of 10 – 120 mm2
- UT for cable end-sleeves Cu with and without insulation and the cross-section of 25 – 185 mm2
- UF for round forming of Al sector conductors and the cross-section of 16 – 120 mm2
- USM for tubular terminals and connectors Cu with the cross-section of 6 – 120 mm2 and Al tubular terminals and connectors of 16 – 120 mm2.
