Cable connectors can be made of aluminum, copper or from both of these materials at the same time. Copper-aluminum connectors are often called bimetallic connectors. They can be crimped on both Al. and Cu wires both single- and multi-strand. The products are made by ERKO with the utmost care, in order to meet customers expectations.

ACB bimetallic connector with the pin
ACB connectors with the pin are made according to DIN 46267 part .2 in the aluminum part. They are thermal resistant to very high temperatures even up to 300°C. They can be crimped on multi-strand sector wire, multi-strand round wire and on single-strand sector wire. These connectors are used to connect Al. Wires with copper elements. Thanks to them it is possible to eliminate the phenomenon of cells at the interface between aluminum and copper.
