Cable terminal is one of the elements of the crimping system designed by ERKO. The cable terminal is mostly chosen because of its use , but other features are also important for example : cross-section, material and the type of conductor.
There are many different types of cable terminals namely : ring , spade, pin, cable end-sleeve, claws and tubular terminals. There are products in many sizes that are designed for both copper and aluminum wires. An interesting product is the bimetallic cable terminal, which is designed to connect Al and Cu wires. In case of this cable terminal we can avoid the phenomenon of creating cells at the interface of these two materials. It is also worth mentioning the shear off screw terminals, which are distinguished by high universality and an easy way of installation.
