ERKO is a leader in producing cable connectors and cable terminals. In our offer we have 3000 cable terminals and cable connectors for copper and aluminum wires with the cross-section from 0,14 mm2 to 625 mm2 and mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic crimping tools.
Cable terminal – what is it made of?
The material , that the terminals is made of depends on its type:
- Tubular copper terminals are made of electrolytic copper Cu-ETP (E-Cu) and they meet the standards of PN-EN 13600 and PN-EN 13601.
- Cable end-sleeves Cu are made of copper Cu-ETP/Cu-DHP and they meet the standards of DIN 46228.
- Aluminum cable terminals are made of aluminum EN AW 1370/EN AW 1050A and they meet the standard of PN-EN 573-3.
- Receptacles are made of brass according to PN-92/H-87025.
Insulation and tinning
In addition, it is worth mentioning that some of the products have polyamide insulation, so it is a material resistant to temperatures They are perfect for temperature from -40 to +125 degrees Celsius. The insulation increases the impact resistance. You can order cable terminals with insulation in class V0. Some cable terminals are galvanically tinned 99,90 according to EN610.
Depending on the cable terminal type and the cross-section we can distinguish the following crimping forms:
Single indent | |
Oval | |
Trapezoidal | |
Square | |
Wrapped over wire conductor and insulation
Round forming of aluminum sector conductor
Hexagonal |
Our products meet all requirements to gain necessary approvals and authorizations. Thanks to the technical opinion from the Institute of Electronics in Warsaw our products are approved for use in electricity grids. The cable terminals with insulation in class V0 are approved for use on ships.
Products are delivered within 48 hours. You can count not only on professional service and technical support, but also on reliable service both during warranty and after warranty period.
