Cable lugs offered by ERKO

In ERKO offer of   cable lugs  you can find different terminals and connectors, without them it wouldn’t be possible to make a durable and safe connection of two wires. Cable lugs are one of the elements of the crimping system and they can be used also for wires with huge cross-sections of the conductor .

First, select the appropriate cable lug , bearing in mind its application,  wire cross-section, material and the type of conductor. The cable is inserted into the tubular part of the chosen cable lug.  Choose the appropriate crimping tool recommended by the manufacturer.

Among cable end-sleeves we can distinguish  cable lug  TA. It is a cable lug  without insulation and it is made according to DIN 46228 part.1.Among the cable end-sleeves with insulation we should pay attention to a cable lug  TE, which has thermal resistance to temperatures from  -40°C to +125°C. It is made of galvanically tinned copper  and it was produced  according to  DIN 46228 part.4.

If you deal with multi-strand copper wires with the cross-section from 0,5  to  2,5 mm², you should choose  TP cable end-sleeve strip . The sizes are  made according to  DIN 46228 part.4.

Double cable end-sleeve  TV is  also a cable lug  with polyamide insulation. The wire cross-section ranges from  2 × 0,5  to  2 × 16 mm².
