Learn more about our cable end-sleeves. Cable end-sleeve TA is designed for multi-strand wires and it is made of galvanically tinned copper. Copper is often used in the construction of the electrical installations. This terminal is made according to DIN 46228 part.1. The conductor cross-section in case of this terminal ranges from 0,5 mm2 to 16 mm2.
Another type of cable end-sleeve is TE terminal, it has polyamide insulation and it can work in temperatures from -40 °C to +125 °C. It is made according to DIN 46228 part.4. Insulation can be in different colours depending on the conductor cross-section .It ranges from 0,14- 150 mm2.
Another example of cable end-sleeve is TP – a cable end-sleeve in strip with polyamide insulation. Polyamide has very good sliding properties, low coefficient of friction and high wear resistance. The conductor cross-section in this case ranges from 0,5-2,5 mm2.
Receptacles and tabs are designed for multi-strand copper wires. They are made of brass and thanks to this they are resistant to atmospheric and water corrosion.
Receptacle terminal MSE with copper tube and polyamide insulation has thermal resistance from -40 °C to + 125 °C, and it is made according to DIN 46245. The wire cross-section may range from 0,5 mm2 to 6 mm2. Tab terminals TSE, has similar properties and it is made according to DIN 46248.
