Cable cutters RC 5 are designed for copper and aluminium wires both single-stranded and multi-stranded with the outer diameter up to 5 mm and for steel cable with the diameter up to 2 mm. Obvious advantages of this tool are: shaped blades for easy cutting and a special lever that optimizes the force required for cutting. These shears are light, and handy, they have a non-slip handle and they can work under voltage up to 1000V.
Cable cutters RC 13 are also designed for cutting cooper and aluminium wires both single and multi-stranded. In this case, the outer diameter of the wire can be bigger – up to 13 mm, and the cross-section up to 60 mm2. The blade is especially hardened to increase the durability of the tool. You can make the cutting with very little effort.
Cable cutters RC 54 weight 800 g and they are used for the same wires as RC 13 and RC5, but their outer diameter can be up 54 mm and the cross-section of the wire up to 480 mm2. This tool is equipped with ratcheting mechanism , as a result for cutting big diameters low hand-force is required.
