Cable connectors for copper wires are made of galvanically tinned copper. You can also order a non-tinned version of the connector. We can distinguish connectors with polyamide insulation and without insulation. Cable connectors can be made for aluminum wires, copper wires or Al – Cu wires. These products belong to the category of tubular connectors.

Cable connector KLA – is made for the wire cross-section from 0,5 mm2 to 400 mm2. The bigger the size of the connector, the stronger tool for crimping is required. For example universal hand press PR 33 can be used for the conductor cross-section from 0,5 mm2 to 6 mm2. However it is not the only tool that can be used with this cross-section you can also perform crimping with such tools as A 11-6 or RA 16. Cable connector for the wire with the conductor cross-section of 400 mm2 can be crimped only with hydraulic crimping head GU 625. It’s important to check which tools are recommended by the manufacturer for the given size of the conductor.
Cable connector KLE

KLE is an example of a connector with an insulation, which has greater thermal resistance to temperatures from -40°C to +125°C. The tubular part is available in three colours: red (for the cross-section of 0,5 ÷ 1 mm2, 4 mm2 and 10 mm2), yellow (for the cross-section of 6 mm2) and blue (for the cross-section of 1,5 ÷ 2,5). Cable connector with the cross-section range from 0,5 to 6 mm2 can be crimped with the help of such crimping tools as PR33, E11-6, RE6, PP8, PP19, and the connectors for the cross-section of 10 mm2 need such crimping tools as for example EPZC300, EPZ300, GZ300, HRZ300, PRZ240, GO300, HR300, GU300.
KLR

KLR cable connector is not only designed for connecting two ends of copper wires but it is also designed to reduce the cross-section of the wire. The wire with the conductor cross-section of 16 mm2 can be connected with the wire with the cross-section of 10 mm2. A good example here could be the wire with the conductor cross-section of 300 mm2, which can be connected with other wires with such cross-section as 120 mm2, 150 mm2, 185 mm2 and 240 mm2 all thanks to the use of reducing connector KLR. This connectors can be crimped with such tools as EPZC300, EPZ300, GZ300, HRZ300, PRZ240, GO300, HR300, GU300, GU120, HR100-U.
KLB

KLB cable connector is an example of a parallel connector , which is used to connect cables parallel, the wires can have the same cross-section or the can have different conductor cross-sections They are available in sizes that correspond to the wire cross-section from 0,5 mm2 to 120 mm2
