Cable connectors offered by ERKO are adjusted to the current standards and certification and the needs of the installer. In the assortment of ERKO you can find tubular connectors Cu, Al connectors, shear off screw connectors 1-36 kV, connectors for medium voltage and special connectors. Each of the products has a designated crimping tool recommended by the manufacturer.
Cu connectors are designed for multi-stranded wires with or without insulation type KLA or with insulation type KLE. KLA connectors are available in 32 sizes depending on the cross-section of the wire . Connectors type KLE are available for the cross-section of 10 mm2. Among the products offered by ERKO you can also find reducing connectors, they allow to connect two different cross-sections of the wires for example 16 mm2 to 10 mm2 or 95 mm2 to 25 mm2. The example of such connectors are: KLR and KLS.
Cable connectors Al are designed for both single-stranded and multi-stranded wires or only for multi-stranded wires. Connectors ALD and ALC are available in various sizes, where the smallest ALC connectors are suitable for the wires with the cross-section of 16 mm2, and the biggest connector is suitable for the wire with the cross-section of 240 mm2. ALS is a tight reducing connector for multi-stranded wires.
Al – Cu connectors for example bimetallic connector ACL, which has a very high thermal resistance up to 300 degrees. As it is the case with ACL and ACB connectors.
Shear off screw cable connectors for example SZS, SKS and SZN are an alternative for the crimping technology. In the assortment of ERKO you can also find other cable connectors. For example : Cu connectors to 36 kV namely: KLS-F, KLR-F, KLP-F and KLN-F; Al connector to 10 kV – ALD-S. For the voltage of 36 kV there are more suitable connectors for example: ALG-F, ALD-F, ALS-F, ALR-F and ACL-F.
