Same SHARK® technology
We have introduced new names and symbols for SHARK® connectors, dies, hydraulic heads and electric crimping tools. To make the change easier, the new symbols are shown together with the old ones.
Find the new name for an old symbol and use the current selection tables.
Old symbols remain visible for reference.

Name guide
How to read the new SHARK® names?
The new symbols use one clear system for connectors, hydraulic heads, dies and electric crimping tools. Instead of learning separate names, you can read the product family and size from the symbol. For connectors, the symbol also shows the version.

The letter shows the size. For hydraulic heads, two letters, for example BC or DE, show the supported size range.

Exception: EPZC300N
In the new SHARK® names, EG means an electric crimping tool. EPZC300N is an exception: this tool was already in the ERKO range. The new MZRU-B and MZRU-C dies now also allow it to be used with SHARK® technology.
Why does GRRU-E have two “R” letters?
The GRRU-E head partly covers the same use as GRU-DE. The MRU-E die in GRU-DE can crimp the same connectors as the MRRU-E die in GRRU-E. The extra R helps distinguish these two solutions.
Special case: RU-E3
Crimp the single part of RU-E3 with the GRU-DE head, and the double part with the GRRU-E head.
