Learn about a wide range of cable glands produced by ERKO. They are designed to seal the point of passage of the wires at the point of exit in the housing of the electrical equipment. They are made in such a way that they prevent the bending of the wires and their damage by the sharp edges of the housing and they are resistant to breaking. Have you known, that cable glands produced by ERKO are made of materials , which are not only very durable , but they also have self-extinguishing properties. What’s more they are also free from halogen and phosphorus ? They have also additional protection against the sharp edges of the housing. Only solidly made element prevents the breaking of the cable from the equipment.
The material that they are made of is polyamide PA66, which has also high self-extinguishing properties. They work perfectly in temperatures from -40 to 100 degrees Celsius.
Cable glands made by ERKO can be distinguished by :
– durable material that they are made of
– the degree of protection IP68
– burning class UL94V-2.
The access to the cable glands is very important ,there are different sizes of the glands namely PG7-PG48 and M12-M40. They are available in two colours : gray (RAL 7035), and black (RAL 9005). And the nuts have an integrated anti vibration protection.
